In this course, you will discover the capabilities of AllFusion ERwin Data Modeler (AllFusion ERwin DM). You will build and reverse-engineer logical and physical data models. In addition, you will validate, present, and refine data models. You will apply transforms, and manage Data Definition Language (DDL) scripts and database schemas. You will create user-defined domains (UDDs), which make it easier to reuse, maintain, and create attributes for your data models. After you have completed the course, you will be able to create data models for undocumented schemas and translate normalized logical data models into performance-oriented, physical data models.

For Managers:
This course will help maximize your investment in AllFusion Data Modeler: Effective Data Modeling Practices software by giving your administrators and architects the skills necessary to communicate business requirements. By providing them with effective data modeling practices, they will be able to represent and document your data structures and business rules. They will be able to build logical models, target starting points for schema generation using physical models, and create graphic and text-based reports. This course will also enable your team to increase its productivity and improve output by creating model subsets and UDDs . Finally, your team will be able to generate DDL scripts from physical models and ensure that both physical models and database schemas are properly synchronized through the Complete Compare feature.
